A vintage 1974 edition of "The Inner Game of Tennis" by Timothy Gallwey. This book largely inspired the concept for Brine Racquet Club. It's teachings are applicable on the court and off.
The book teaches that within us are two selves:
Self 1 is the critical, analytical voice that tries to control performance
Self 2 is the intuitive, effortless performer that plays in flow.
Improvement comes not from trying harder, but from quieting self-judgment, trusting the body’s natural ability, and staying present in the moment.
On Brine Pickleball Paddles, each side features a different piece of artwork to symbolize the concept. You'll see "Se Unum" and "Ego Duo" at the top, which is latin for “self one” and “self two.”
*Lol, is somebody actually going to buy this? If so, we’ll find a way to make this an unforgettable purchase :)
